How to use Micromed Acute Care Probiotics for Cats?

Apply one to two full sprays on the affected areas twice daily, and continue for at least 10 days after the issue has resolved.

Note: Do not use in conjunction with antibiotic, anti-fungal or anti-bacterial medications, creams or washes or products with ingredients such a zinc, tea-tree, neem or essential oils. Begin using MicroMed probiotics immediately after finishing antibiotics, or other recommended washes etc. to re-instate the beneficial bacteria, fungi and protozoa

Topical probiotic for cats

I'm sure it would be very good, but it is impossible to get it on her. It was alright the first time but she licked it all off. the 2nd time I rubbed it on my hands, but after that as soon as she smelled it she was gone.
So she still pulls her fur out.

Hi there Yulie - thanks so much for your review and so sorry you had problems getting your cat to accept it as a spray or even a hand wipe which is such a shame as most cats love it! What you could actually do - if you still have the bottle of MicroMed topical spray is simply spray twice on her food and mix it in - then she is getting the microbes from the inside out - even more powerful. Yes the topical is the same microbes just at a more dilute formulation. Most animals actually love the taste of it so worth a try. Let me know via sales@micromed.org.nz if you ended up throwing the bottle out though please - or hopefully you might have paid it forward in preference? Ive used micro med twice now for my cat who is prone to skin issues from flea allergy dermatitis & i will continue to purchase in the future. I notice a big difference in less than a week & at week 2 her fur is regrowing and the last few scabs are almost gone. Amazing product.

Our elderly cat had a demerits around his neck and too old for steroid meds. We applied Micro med consistently and it’s so much better. Confident it will do the trick. I’m impressed with this product. It actually works

Very helpful

To early to tell yet if it works for our boy , as we live rural our cat hunts in the paddocks and this season he has lost a lot of his fur to possible grass allergies however having questions staff very helpful and I have made some changes to our kitties diet by starting with grain free kitty kibble after being informed about leaky gut he has stopped being so fussy, and enjoying his food, alongside with the micromed spray and the change of diet I hope this will make a difference and reduce or stop his loss of fur and excessive grooming.
